The staff at All Creatures Animal Hospital are concerned with the entire health and wellness of your dog. We have incorporated canine rehabilitation to facilitate the return of your dog`s health and function to the best possible level.
Example Goals of Rehabilitation:
To improve active pain-free range of joint motion and flexibility, increase muscle mass and strength, to reduce weight and lameness, decrease pain, improve daily function, and to help prevent further injury.

At All Creatures Animal Hospital, therapeutic exercises are an important part of the rehabilitation services we provide. We encourage the owner's participation by providing instructions for a specially designed home exercise program.
Here are some general types of exercise that we perform:
- * Passive Therapeutic Exercises (passive range of motion/stretching, etc.)
- * Proprioceptive Therapeutic Exercises (bicycling movements, flexor reflexes, etc.)
- * Assisted Therapeutic Exercises (assisted standing, therapy balls, weight-shifting, etc.)
- * Active Therapeutic Exercises (slow leash walks, stairs, inclines/declines, tunnels, etc.)
- * Strengthening Therapeutic Exercises (shaking hands, pulling/carrying weights, etc.)

Trish Busse, Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner
She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition, Master of Science in Natural Health, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Nutrition. She attended the canine rehabilitation courses at the University of Tennessee. She also has a certification of completion in Canine Massage, Feline Massage, Modalities of the Spine, and Equine Acupressure. Her inspiration is the healing and well-being of your dog.
